Congratulations to the Winner of the Free Website Giveaway

October 7, 2025

And the winner of the Free Website Giveaway is… Sacraments for Seniors!

After interviewing the top 5 applicants – here’s why we chose them ↓

Over 3000 Catholics reside in 169 nursing homes in the Archdiocese of St. Paul.

Many of these elderly receive no visitors. They waste away in silence, with no access to the sacraments before death.

Sacraments for Seniors exists to change that.

They advocate for Catholic residents living in long-term care facilities to help them gain access to Clergy and receive the Sacraments of Anointing of the Sick, the Holy Eucharist and Reconciliation.

When we redesign their website, we’re not just going to make it look better.
We’re turning it into a Catholic resource hub for families, clergy, and caregivers.

Here’s what we plan to include:

-> Catholic living will resources
-> Books on how to die well
-> Guidance on hospice: when it’s appropriate, and red flags to watch for
-> How to advocate for your loved one, including “Know Your Rights” and understanding the role of a State Ombudsman
-> When to call a priest
-> Understanding the Apostolic Blessing
-> A directory of nursing homes that offer regular Sacraments

Our goal is to create a website that every Diocese in the country can model.

Mother Teresa is remembered for her missionary work, but much of that mission was helping people die with dignity. She understood the importance of those final moments, and so do the good people behind Sacraments for Seniors.

They are a voice for the voiceless, helping elderly Catholics receive the graces of the Sacraments before they leave this life.

They’re going to get our support, and we ask that they have your prayers as well.
