Sacraments for Seniors
Sacraments for Seniors is a lay-led Catholic initiative helping elderly residents in long-term care facilities receive the sacraments of Confession, Holy Communion, and Anointing of the Sick. They won our Free Website Giveaway, and we transformed their outdated site into a resource hub for families, caregivers, and clergy across the country.
The Challenge.
Over 3,000 Catholics reside in 169 nursing homes in the Archdiocese of St. Paul. Many receive no visitors. They have no access to the sacraments before death.
Sacraments for Seniors existed to change that, but their website didn't reflect the weight of their mission. It was outdated, still referenced COVID-era information, and offered no clear path for families who needed help.

Our Role.
We turned their new site into a Catholic resource hub.
We also built a nursing home directory (ready to launch when they have staff to maintain it). Our goal was to create a website that any diocese in the country could model.

The Results.
Since launch, hundreds of families have reached out for help connecting their loved ones with the sacraments.
The site now serves as a practical toolkit for anyone advocating for Catholic seniors - whether they're a family member, a priest, or a care facility administrator.
