Why Briefcase Marketing
Their old website didn’t reflect the joyful community and authentic formation happening on campus.
If nothing changed, they would continue missing opportunities to reach students who were actively searching for something more.
The Challenge
The ministry’s previous website focused heavily on announcements and logistics. It didn’t capture the life and warmth of the community — or inspire students to get involved.
The Strategy
Our goal was to build a site that radiated joy and belonging. We rewrote and redesigned everything with this focus in mind.
1. Hope-Filled Copywriting
During discovery, we learned students often shared their struggles openly. Instead of repeating those pain points, we shaped the copy around what students would experience — community, purpose, and joy in Christ.
2. Lively, Authentic Photography
We incorporated real photos and videos throughout the site, highlighting friendships, prayer, and campus life. By embedding their Instagram feed, the website now updates automatically with fresh images — saving staff time while keeping the site dynamic and alive.
3. Peer Testimonials
Nothing builds trust faster than seeing a peer’s story. With permission, we added student testimonials — complete with names, faces, and graduation years — across key pages.

Success Achieved!
The new site feels alive, welcoming, and grounded in joy. It invites students in rather than talking at them.
What stood out most wasn’t the design or layout — it was the decision to lead with hope instead of hardship.
Catholic websites don’t need to echo every struggle. They need to offer a place of light.
The 5-star review that followed told us we got it right.
