The oldest parish in the Diocese asked me to update their marketing.

The oldest parish in the Diocese of Cleveland asked me to update their marketing.

I found 1 massive issue we could improve on.

Their website didn’t make Mass look inviting.

Nothing on the site answered the question a visitor or returning Catholic might actually be asking: “What will it be like if I show up?”

So we rewrote and redesigned the entire site to make it as clear and welcoming as possible.

We sent a photographer to capture the parish, the people, and the liturgy.

And we produced two videos with Fr. Joe Robinson – a welcome to the parish video and a “what to expect at Sunday Mass” video.

The second one is the one I’m most proud of. It’s for the people wrestling with the awkwardness of showing up without fully understanding what’s going on.

The video answers questions like:

-> Why is Mass centered around the Eucharist?
-> Is it okay to leave right after Communion?
-> Does the priest want me there if I haven’t been in a while?

So now the oldest parish has one of the newest (and dare I say one of the best) websites in the Diocese. https://stsppc.org/

It makes attending Mass feel inviting, and it gives the parish a platform to grow.
